Ingredients (4 people):
- 1/4 kg of LaCuba dried figs- 4 fresh bread rolls
- 4 pork tenderloin steaks
- 4 slices of cheddar
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 spun of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 dl of Port wine
- Salt and black pepper
Preparation:
- Macerate the figs in Port at least one hour in advance.- Open the rolls in half and toast them lightly, when the rest of the process is almost finished.
- Season the steaks and cut the figs in half, crushing each part slightly.
- On the griddle greased with olive oil, roast the steaks and pass the figs fast by turning them around.
- When the steks are almost done place several halves of figs on top and a slice of cheddar cheese to melt it a little.
Plate up:
- Put a bit of virgin olive oil in the just toasted bread. Put the fillet (with the figs and cheedar in top of one of the sides of the bread, and put one or two lettuce leaves on top. Put the other half of the bread and its ready to eat!
